- Add Groups with Permissions
In an effort to bolster the administration and organisation of mailboxes better I have added groups which inboxes can be put in. Each group has it's own inbox which can be internal only and act as more an announcement list or a more collaborative joint inbox between staff.
While broader permissions still need to be added and collaborative experience this is still a good foundation. Looking forward to the future with this. One of my main reasons for creating Postie was group permissions were convoluted/confusing/obtuse across providers so I want to make this actually work for teams who share inboxes without having to leave the mailbox interface.
- Mailbox Aliases
Mailbox aliases for both personal and shared mailboxes has been added today also. It's both accessible from the individual users mailbox settings with overall tenant-wide view in the administration part.
As a sidenote, working on expanding these mailbox settings makes me want to really change the design. It's currently just a white modal mess and needs both a dedicated URL like gopostie.xyz/settings/ or something with less whitespace. Will do that tomorrow.
- Signatures
Have added signatures to the mailbox settings. Set up for both individual/personal mailboxes and shared accounts. Had a bit of trouble with embedding pictures as part of the signatures but figured it out in the end.
